Terms and Conditions for SMS Communications

These Terms and Conditions govern your enrollment in and use of text message (SMS/MMS) communications provided by Positive Strides Center, a nonprofit therapeutic horseback riding organization based at Timber Grove Farm in Preston, Maryland. By opting in to receive text messages from Positive Strides Center, you agree to these terms.
1. Program Name and DescriptionProgram Name: Positive Strides Center SMS Communications
Positive Strides Center uses SMS/MMS messaging to communicate with volunteers, program participants, donors, and other supporters. Messages may include volunteer scheduling and reminders, program and session updates, event announcements, orientation information, and general organizational news.
2. Opt-In and ConsentYou may opt in to receive text messages from Positive Strides Center by:
•Providing your mobile phone number and checking the consent box on our online Volunteer Application (quasimom-9.github.io/PSVolunteerApplication) or Rider Application
3. Message FrequencyMessage frequency will vary. You may receive up to several messages per week depending on scheduling needs, upcoming events, and organizational activity. We will not send promotional or marketing messages unrelated to our nonprofit programs.
4. Message and Data RatesMessage and data rates may apply. Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and your service plan. Positive Strides Center does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard rates apply. Contact your carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.

6. How to Opt OutYou may opt out of receiving text messages from Positive Strides Center at any time by replying STOP to any message. After opting out, you will receive a single confirmation message and will receive no further SMS communications unless you opt back in.

7. Privacy and Data UseYour mobile phone number and any information collected in connection with this SMS program will be used solely to communicate with you about Positive Strides Center programs and activities. We will not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number with third parties for their marketing purposes. 8. Supported CarriersPositive Strides Center's SMS program is available on most major U.S. carriers including AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, and others. Carrier support may vary. We are not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery caused by carrier networks or technical issues beyond our control.
9. Changes to These TermsPositive Strides Center reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on our website at positivestridescenter.org and will take effect upon posting. Continued participation in the SMS program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
